Billionaire Boys Club added a Ralph Lauren twist to their new collection. These shoes are OD preppy, but with the BBC logo thrown on them they just might be a hit. The direction is seen in such pieces as the new Boat Shoes, which just dropped in stores. The shoe comes with a modern silhouette, but at the same time with all its classic features. Definitely a nice and unexpected piece by the brand. The contradiction of BBC and this prepped up swag is what makes the shoe dope, they kind of play off of each other.

Laurina Paperina is a fascinating young artist who has put together her first solo exhibition which is on show until March 29 at Galerie Magda Danysz. This promising talent from Italy receives great distinction with work drawn of complete irony of reality and fiction.an ironic elaboration of contemporaneity and the elements which are part of it. In reference to her art, she says:

“It is an elaboration stemming from a language synthesis where diversity and contradiction are intertwined and where the influence of internet culture, TV, comic strips, video games, sci-fi and cartoons are generating a complex set of elements, which, although turning into an apparent chaos, are letting themselves be seen in recognizable forms.”

Laurina Paperina likes to play with art, with her stories set the stage with characters full of color that tell a story. Check out her website, it’s pretty cool:

We all know Young Jeezy for making it snow in the summertime. Now he is granting wishes with his “Make Your Dreams Come True” contest. A mother in North Carolina has asked for a wheelchair accessible van to help her with her son who has cerebral palsy. Jeezy is helping by copping the van for her, it’s good to see Hip Hop give back to the community.

Democratic hopeful Barack Obama won the endorsement of ex-rival Chris Dodd on Tuesday as Hillary Clinton looked to an evening debate to shake up a U.S. presidential race tilting against her.

Dodd, a veteran Connecticut senator who dropped out of the campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination in early January, announced his support for Obama at a news conference with the Illinois senator.

“This is a moment of unity in our country, a time when we need to come together as a Democratic Party and to get behind a candidacy that expresses the aspirations, the hopes, the ambitions of millions and millions of Americans,” Dodd said.
